San Marino sweeps make-up doubleheader with Parma

ROME – San Marino remained flawless (8-0) on the 2012 regular season, taking two make-up games, 3-0 and 6-3, from Parma.

The games’ original scheduled programming was washed out due to torrential rainfall.

San Marino and Parma were unable to meet for their third and final game, but the Italian Baseball Softball Federation have reworked the calendar, so that the two teams can complete their series on Wednesday, April 25th.

Other Italian Baseball League action that was interrupted includes the Bologna-Godo series.

FIBS has rescheduled the games for April 24th, May 1st and May 8th, which are all Tuesdays and will put force managers to go deeper into their bullpens than usual.

Novara and Nettuno will also need to make up one game from their Week 3 series, but FIBS has yet to determine a suitable day on which to schedule the game.
