Third place Ponte di Piave cruised to victories over Turin's Juve 98, 8-6 and 11-1 (7 innings). Bollate bashed Rovigo 16-1 (7 innings) and 5-2. Elettra Energia Novara celebrated its first win on the season and also its first doubleheader sweep in which it was on the winning end. Novara hosted Cagliari, but the team from Sardinia was the official home team in Piemonte.
