LEGNANO STILL FLAWLESS GOING INTO ISL WEEK 7

AMGA Team Legnano is coming off a Week 6 two-game sweep of visiting Unione Fermana. Legnano was not dominant in the games versus last place Fermana and escaped with a 6-5 win to conclude the double-header. This weekend, Legnano will try to maintain its 8-game win streak and 2 game lead in the standings, as the team from just north of Milan heads to Nuoro. Nuoro, 5-5, knocked Forli around last week, and this will certainly put Legnano on alert from the first inning.

Caserta split a pair of games with Bollate last weekend, 1-3 and 4-1, and now has its eyes set on taking the sting out of the Hornets of Titano. The 2009 Champions will have the advantage of being at home and definitely haven't forgotten that they are the defending champs. The Titano Hornets are 4-8 and can be looking to do nothing more than splitting its series with Caserta.

Forli will try to recover from a two-game skid. Last week, visiting Nuoro swept Forli 5-2 and 7-1. Forli will now head to La Loggia. Both teams are 7-3 and currently 2 games behind first place Legnano. Both teams are at least looking to split the double-header, but a sweep would be nice for either team and it just might allow the winner to regain some ground on Legnano.

Last place Fermana will host its 2nd to last place neighbors Macerta. Fermana will use this weekend to try to bite its way out of the doghouse, while Macerata will attempt to distance itself from the bottom of the Italian Softball League.

Bollate has the week off.
