2013 Brings in New Foreign Players

FIBS general secretary has publicized the list of foreign players (athletes with a work/sports visa) that have been reconfirmed by the same team in which they played for in 2012

FIBS general secretary has publicized the list of foreign players (athletes with a work/sports visa) that have been reconfirmed by the same team in which they played for in 2012.

In the Italian Baseball League there are only two clubs which participated in the 2012 IBL that have optioned back players off of lasts seasons rosters: Parma (catcher, Osman Marval and pitcher Jose Sanchez) and the Godo Knights (catcher Danilo Sanchez and pitchers Miguel Pinango, and José Memias). Out of the teams debuting in the IBL this year the New Black Panthers of Ronchi dei Legionari are the only ones bring back their foreigner off of last years roster (pitcher, Matthew James Litzinger).

Only 3 clubs participating in Series A have decided to optioned back foreigners which held visas in 2012, Codogno (pitcher Federico Josè Tanco), Padova (pitcher, Leonardo Astorga) and Arezzo (position player, Emmanuel Evangelista Digno).

In the Italian Softball League the only squad that has asked back players off of last years roster is the Blue Girls of Pianoro (Johana Gomez and Yaicey Sojo).
