Hall of Fame

In 2005, the Italian Baseball Softball Federation included among its priorities the creation of a Museum and the Italian Baseball and Softball Hall of Fame. The purpose of the initiative is to make the history of our sports & of the Federation that organises the activity known to the wider sports public.

The Federal Council has appointed a Commission in charge of managing the Hall of Fame which responsibilities include:

establish the rules for admission to the 'Hall of Fame'
identify the categories of players in baseball history to be admitted to the 'Hall of Fame'
establish the frequency of new appointments
Make the first appointments
