After the announcement of the southpaw Rodney Rodriguez, T&A San Marino has officially announced the signing of ex Big Leaguer, Romulo Sanchez for their 2015 Italian Baseball League campaign. Sanchez comes with an impressive resume that includes time in the MLB with both the Pittsburgh Pirates (2007-08) and the New York Yankees (2010), accumulating a total of 16 appearances on the the bump at the Big League level. In 2011 Romulo Sanchez found himself in Japan with the Rakuten Golden Eagles, while in 2013 he pitched for the Brother Elephant in the CPBL (Taiwan). Sanchez (6’5”, 260 pounds) will without a doubt be a big presenze when saddling the rubber for San Marino. He is characterized as a hard throwing righty that sometimes struggles with control.
