Serie A1 Softball Playoffs begin in Italy

The Serie A1 postseason starts on Friday, September 10, 2021 with the first two quarterfinal games between MKF Bollate and Pianoros Softball followed by a third contest on Saturday. The other quarterfinal matchup between Poderi Dal Nespoli Forlì and Rhevandors Caronno takes place on Saturday, September 11 (games 1 and 2) and Sunday, September 12 (game 3). In addition, the first two games of the best-of-five series playout between Lacomes New Bollate and Caserta happen on Sunday.

The Serie A1 postseason is here with the first contest of the doubleheader between MKF Bollate and Pianoro Softball being played on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 6 pm (local time) on the Ospiate di Bollate diamond with game three taking place on Saturday at 2:30 pm (local time). Bollate will ask pitching aces ace Greta Cecchetti and Caylan Arnold to take care of business, while Pianoro will depend on Cassidy Knudsen and Beatrice Nannetti to silence Bollate. All games will broadcast live on www.FIBSTV.com

The other quarterfinal between Poderi Dal Nespoli Forlì and Rheavendors Caronno begins Saturday at 5 pm (local time). Forli undoubtedly will put league leader Ilaria Cacciamani (10-1) on the mound, while Caronno will counter with pitcher Carlotta Salis. The competition continues on Sunday at 5 pm (local time). The weekend action also includes the first two-game playout to avoid relegation between Lacomes New Bollate and Caserta. Forza #Italia!
