Team Italy U15 manager Roberto De Franceschi along with coaches Luca Martignoni, Claudio Corradi, Alberto Furlan, and Mario Mascitelli have summoned 29 up-and-coming youth baseball cadets to report to the Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) Academy at the Acquacestosa Olympic Training Center in Rome for a two-day training camp from March 23-24, 2019.
The promising Azzurri squad will gain valuable experience during the weekend of intense training, development and practice in anticipation of the U15 European Championship from July 15-21, 2019 in Nettuno. This year’s Euro Championship takes on significant importance since the international tourney will determine which team qualifies for the 2020 U15 Baseball World Cup.
